Field-erected cooling towers, kept at full performance.

Inspection, maintenance, emergency repairs, rehabilitation and reconstruction for oil and gas, energy, major infrastructure and institutional campuses — by our own engineers and site teams since 2011.

  • Since 2011cooling tower services across the Kingdom
  • Design, build, maintainend to end with in-house engineers and technicians
  • Zero injuries since 2011our staff and subcontractors

Results

More cooling from the towers you already have.

15 years
of cooling tower projects across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
+42%
cooling capacity from an existing concrete tower
+25%
capacity in the same footprint
Zero
unit shutdowns during a tower replacement

Capacity results are project outcomes from individual tower upgrades; results depend on the tower, its duty and operating conditions.

Hospital cooling plant · Al-Ahsa

Timber tower to FRP counterflow

Problem
An ageing timber crossflow tower needed replacing without interrupting hospital cooling.
Scope
Replaced it with an FRP counterflow tower on the existing basin, using a temporary tower during the changeover.
Result
+25% capacity, same footprint

01 · Inspect

We start by measuring.

Internal and mechanical inspection, and thermal testing to CTI ATC-105, show where a tower is losing performance.

02 · Engineer

Then we engineer the fix.

Thermal, mechanical and structural calculations in-house — aligned with the tower OEM — define the right upgrade.

03 · Rebuild

Rebuilt inside the same footprint.

New fill, distribution and FRP structure installed by our own crews — up to 42% more capacity from an existing tower.

04 · Maintain

Kept at full performance.

Planned visits, inspections and long-term maintenance contracts keep towers running between shutdowns.

05 · Respond

And we stay when it matters.

A 24/7 emergency line and stocked spares for when something fails.

Long-term maintenance

Trusted with a petrochemical leader’s cooling towers.

Al Kanar holds a long-term maintenance contract with a regional petrochemical giant. The same team, procedures and spares that support that contract are available to every customer — from a single inspection to a multi-year maintenance partnership.

Turnaround services

A clear process, inside your shutdown window.

  1. Inspect

Inspect the tower and its mechanical equipment.

  2. Report

Identify problems and recommend the right fix.

  3. Supply

    Supply spare parts from stock.

  4. Repair

Repair, service or reconstruct the tower.

  5. Verify & hand over

Agreed inspections, functional checks or thermal testing, then completion records and recommendations.

Spares ready

Parts on the shelf when you need them.

We hold critical cooling tower spares in our own warehouse, so replacement parts reach site quickly — even during an unplanned outage.
